Autumn Sunset Fair Isle Hat

$6.00

This hat pattern uses 9 colors of Shetland yarn – but never more than two colors in a row! It gives the knitter a sense of what knitting a traditional Fair Isle project would be like. The colors listed show the shades from dark to light.“

Two chart versions are provided -- a color chart with symbols and a black/white with symbols.

Pattern recommends 12.5 grams of each color; but anywhere from 4 to 8 grams of each color is sufficient for the hat. If you have a stash of Shetland hanging about, this is the perfect project to play around with colors. Use the black and white chart and a colored pencil and experiment with your own favorite colors!

Note: If you use Ravelry, you can also purchase this pattern from my Ravelry account.
